Hi All!  So I believe I've neglected my blog long enough.  There just aren't enough hours in the day to keep everything current...especially with my little family!  Alas, I am here and I will make this right...kind of.  I know you've missed out on tons of fun sessions, especially if you don't follow me on Facebook.  So I figured no better time than the present to share some of my faves! ...since I've posted a blog post. Shame on me. However, since summer is almost over and kids will be headed back to school, I plan to devote more time to my poor, neglected blogsite...promise! :)

So here's a new favorite shot that I got of my baby girl. It's just one of those shots that makes my heart sing...

I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful young girl who was preparing for her First Holy Communion.  Mom wanted to capture this special occasion with portraits as well as some family portraits that were long over due (I know about that !) 

Kelly "Ms. Shabulous" & family | Wheatland, CA

I am finally going to sit down and get some very late blog posts up!  First up, Kelly of Shabulous.

Kelly is a shabby artist who turns old, ordinary, and most of the time, ugly pieces of furniture and decor into gorgeous, fabulous pieces!  She hand paints and distresses all pieces by hand.  She super talented at what she does.

We got together in early Spring to do a mini-family session (which was TONS of fun) and then moved on to photographing some of her most favorite pieces.  I feel so very honored and privileged to have had this opportunity to work with Kelly on this project.  It was fantastic!

Yet another "catching up" blog post. Nonetheless, I'm catching up! :)

Wayyyy back in November, I got to work with the Upton Family. This was a special session for me because the adorable little boy in this family is one of my Andrew's best little buddies.
